The Terramar Tribe is a group of individuals who are inspired by an active lifestyle. They are a united group with a common purpose: a desire to share their stories and make the world hear why they love the outdoors and the reliable gear that supports them in all their adventures. Tribe members test our newest gear year round, providing Terramar with invaluable feedback on our products and providing reviews for all you adventurers around the globe!
"I do my best to spend most of my time outside hiking, climbing, skiing, snowshoeing or just lounging in a sunny spot with a beer. By day, I'm a promoter of outdoor experiences. By night, I'm a photographer. I take photographs in hopes to inspire people to get outside and find their own adventure. My professional work takes the inspiration one step further and provides the resources for people to actually go do it!"
Terramar is proud to sponsor the up-and-coming snowboard company, Gilson Boards. These American made boards are built for the all mountain rider in any conditions – powder day play, ice skating, or jibbing rocks. Their patent-pending 3-dimensional base means they can build stronger and flexier boards that float on powder, crush ice, and perform in the park. Check out the team donning their fave gear to ride in – Terramar’s Ecoloator 3.0 Full zip hoodies!
Team WELD/Terramar headed down to Moab, Utah to compete in the 2015 AXS 12-Hour Adventure Race. The team consisted of Troy Rutten, an experienced adventure racer; Bryson White, a member of the Weber Country Outdoor Search and Rescue Squad; Kristen Clifford, a major trail runner in the Salt Lake Valley; and Logan Clifford, a recovering Ironman with a taste for the mountains. The team enjoyed an exciting race on a hot desert day running, mountain biking, orienteering and rappelling 300 feet! Don’t worry they were in their Terramar Microcool gear helping wick any moisture and maintain a comfortable temperature all day long! It was an action-packed day and Team WELD/Terramar is looking forward to start training again for next year (minus Kristen as she's pregnant ... CONGRATS KRISTEN!)
As part of Terramar’s commitment to our community, we have partnered with Big City Mountaineers, an organization that instills critical life skills in under-served urban youth through wilderness mentoring expeditions. Terramar works with BCM to provide hundreds of base layer products to their mentors and youth to keep them well-equipped for all their expeditions!
We at Terramar are very excited to partner with some great organizations. It not only provides an excellent opportunity to give back but also get product feedback from active users. Everybody wins!
Terramar has made it our mission as the official base layer sponsor of the Professional Ski Instructors of America and the American Association of Snowboard Instructors (PSIA-AASI), to provide the more than 31,700 members with quality base layer. As part of our commitment to the skiing and snowboarding world, we are proud to support the men and women who work tirelessly every day to teach and keep the mountains safe and we are thrilled to be able to help keep them warm, dry and comfortable. https://www.thesnowpros.org/
In addition to the PSIA-AASI, Terramar is proud to be the official base layer sponsor for the National Ski Patrol. With Terramar’s base layers, NSP patrollers are able to better perform their jobs in the demanding outdoor conditions in which they work. The NSP has been great testers for our products and provide invaluable feedback that goes straight to our design and development teams. http://www.nsp.org
