I bought this for skiing. I bought a couple different brands, and this was the best by far. The hinging works really well, and the fabric is super nice. It’s very thin, but warm and wicks well. It’s surprisingly versatile. I used it in both 20 degree weather and 55 degrees and was comfortable in both conditions.
Terramar's thermolator balaclava keeps my head toasty but I have a hard time keeping the full face garment over my face and especially my nose. It wants to fall down so I have to keep adjusting it. Perhaps synthetic might be a better option. Terramar's materials are amazing however, very soft, dries quickly and good quality craftsmanship. They also stand by their products if you have any issue.
Good length, full face coverage that's easy to pull down below my chin if needed, snug fit without tugging, terrific venting and no gapping at the side where the temple of my glasses slides in.
The material is very good, seems are flat. Comfortable on.
