warm insulation

Exactly what I was looking for - a very warm, insulating base layer. Very soft and comfortable. (The tag on the garment says it is only 6% wool.) I am able to wear a thin wool base layer beneath it and a cross-country ski jacket over that to XC ski in 0 degree weather. My only criticism is that the sleeves run a bit short. The ribbed cuffs with thumbholes just make it to my wrists. In these warm layers it is really essential to have generous coverage.
